Hi all, I recently made a research-based video on whether the timing childhood trauma occurs affects subsequent mental health problems. I am currently doing a PhD at UCL on the subject, so I hope you find it interesting!
I'm curious if the Windows of Vulnerability research considers the impact of positive childhood experiences, strong relationships, or other resiliency supports when looking at why some are more impacted than others by adversity.
Ava, I am so happy to see you sharing your graduate work here on PACEs Connection! Your video on the FB group dedicated to trauma-informed perinatal professionals caught my eye. Stitching our efforts together is powerful! Looking forward to seeing more of your story (cross posting) and so much more! Maybe at some point you and Justine might be interesting in being part of a conversation about this important work!?! Thanks so much, Karen
Thanks for posting this here Ava! I learned a lot from this video. It's good to know that research on timing of trauma is being done, especially as just knowing an ACEs number is limiting.
