The CRC is Back in Full Swing this September: Learn Global, Healing Centered Solutions from our Favorite Guest Facilitators

As we head into the fall, it’s abundantly clear that whether we like it or not, we have entered a paradigm shift. There’s no way to deny that the devastating fallout from racism, the denial of human rights, and social injustice issues is at an all time high. If we could wish away economic uncertainty, fires and extreme weather caused by global warming, and an all-but-promised pandemic surge, we probably would. It’s understandable at a superficial level, as some of their behaviors, like ghosting or stonewalling, can undoubtedly have a negative impact on others. These actions often trigger reactions from those with secure or anxious attachment styles. It’s important to recognize that avoidant attachment is a form of insecure attachment, originally...

Support AB 28 Gun Violence Prevention Legislation

A large coalition of violence prevention organizations managed to pass AB 28 last week. It is a historic bill that would create a first-in-the-nation tax on the gun industry to generate $160M annually for gun violence prevention and school safety including school mental health programs. The advocates are mobilizing all possible resources to encourage Governor Newsom to sign the bill. The trauma field knows firsthand the impact of gun violence on Californians. Please help spread the word!
