Updated and Full Spanish translations of trauma and disability docs

Hi.  While I’ve shared these before, this post has an updated version of Informing a Provider, and both documents in Spanish.

For those unfamiliar with these documents, here is a bit about them:

“For a child/youth with developmental delay or/and disability who has experienced trauma. Some available information and tools for Mental Health providers,” was drafted with a dual purpose:

  • To be made available to mental health providers as a stand-alone document.
  • For caregivers and others to use, in conjunction with the other document.

“Contacting a Mental Health Provider: For a child/youth with developmental delay or/and disability who has experienced trauma,” was drafted for caregivers and others (e.g., child welfare).  Two notes:

  • There is a history to the development of this document. In its present form, I am utilizing it as part of associated training for caregivers and providers; and in general don’t consider it a stand-alone document. Ergo, it may require some level of training or a companion guide for utilization.
  • It is laid out to print and fold, with the questions and notes on the inside.

For both, they are ongoing works in progress, but useable in the states they are in.  And of course, while I already know things that can make them better, if you have information or/and tools, let’s connect.

NOTE: This was posted on 8.25.22, and 9.2.22 I updated the English versions, and have switched out the attachments with those versions.
