Job Opportunity: Seeking Leaders for Equity and Community Voice

The Child Abuse Prevention Center is hiring for two program leadership positions, and we not only want to reach a candidate pool that reflects the diversity of our communities, but in particular, individuals whose professional experience and personal missions have been centered in racial and gender equity and the well-being of California’s most marginalized families and children. Both positions are hybrid based in Sacramento and can be found here: https://www.thecapcenter.org/careers/.

Senior Program Manager, Strategies Technical Assistance

We are seeking an energized systems thinker & doer—a visionary team leader who also can translate core values and ideals into policy, practice, and action. Strategies TA works at the forefront of elevating community voice and driving collaboration for real upstream solutions to child abuse and neglect and the disproportionate intervention of the child welfare system into the lives of BIPOC & LGBTQ families and children.

Project Manager, the Coalition for Victims of Child Abuse

This is an opportunity for an emerging leader in social services with strengths in managing project timelines and deliverables and comfort with serving clinical professionals who oversee therapeutic services for victims of child abuse and working with subject matter experts in the field. The Coalition for Victims of Child Abuse is funded by the California Office of Emergency Services to support their grantees with training and technical assistance for providing culturally responsive and trauma informed therepeutic services.

Positions open until filled by the best possible candidates. Interviews planned to begin in August. Please share these positions with anyone who you might be a match and interested.
