I appreciate the work you're doing but when we simply the language...you basically couldn't find any Black people or people of color to participate in the panel? That's a bit wild and even more disappointing. The networks of people connected to this organization shouldn't have made it that difficult to find at least two people of color to participate in this panel. I'm floored at your response.

Here's our statement in solidarity with the worldwide protests for racial justice.

Michelle actually has been working very diligently to book guest panelists who are Black for our Cracked Up series, since she is extremely active and passionate about racial justice for Black people. We're excited to announce those guests later this summer. The great news is that because this topic is so important to so many people right now, the Black speakers she reached out to were ALL BOOKED and did not have any availability for our June episode. We love hearing this and knowing that racial justice is getting all the air time right now. 

In the meantime, we are delighted that Jane Fonda is using her platform to raise awareness about the negative impacts of childhood trauma. We at ACEs Connection know that a trauma-informed society is a more just and equitable society. We need all the voices of support we can get!

The lowest donation amount for this event is $1. It covers the cost to produce these series including the time I personally invest to make sure they happen. We hope you can join if you are able but if our event is not for you this time, that's okay and we hope to see you at future events!

Hi Patricia! Did you see the option to pay $1? It's in the drop-down menu.

I was so excited when I saw this!  Then, I went to register and my heart sank at seeing that there would be a fee.  I have gotten SO much from the previous conversations!  Although I understand why you are charging, I unfortunately won't be able to attend.  I live on social security and due to ongoing health issues and upcoming shoulder replacement surgery, finances are VERY tight.
