"City officials say they have seen a “dramatic” increase in recent years in the number of parents seeking child support who also report domestic violence incidents.

"So District Attorney George Gascón wants to make sure that domestic violence victims know they are eligible to seek child support. His office announced this week that they are partnering with the city’s Department of Child Support Services to educate victims of domestic violence about their rights and options when it comes to child support...."
