Who are we? What's our interest in ACEs? Part 2

As people have joined the network, I've asked them to provide some information about their interest in ACEs. Here are three more: Dana DeHart, Heather Larkin, and Ruth Collins-Nakai. Some of the responses are shortened, so there's a link to their page to read more about them, friend them or send a message.

Dana DeHart - Columbia, S.C. "I have been studying ACEs among female offenders as part of my broader research on links between victimization and juvenile and adult offending. I am interested in learning more about association of ACEs to mental and physical health, substance abuse, and crime/delinquency."

Heather Larkin - Albany, N.Y. She facilitates implementing RIS (Restorative Integral Support) for a comprehensive, whole person response to ACEs. This involves the development of HEARTS (Healthy Environments and Relationships That Support) within which individually-oriented evidence-supported interventions and emerging practices can be integrated.

Ruth Collins-Nakai - Edmunton, Alberta, Canada. Ruth served on the Canadian Council for Early Child Development (with Drs. Fraser Mustard and Clyde Hertzman) and has heard Vincent Felitti speak several times.  "Through the Norlien Foundation and The Muttart Foundation in Alberta, we are trying to improve policy around early childhood development in the province."
