Why just limit the greatest good to economics? Considering this site, atteracting the poor, to use language I've heard, means you attract all their problems. Mind you, as ACEs people, we know what that means. As an EMT, I used to respond to the very place I live now, and everyone referred to it as Langley's ghetto. Now it's an intentional community.

I think more could be done with communities if they were designed around intentionality rather than just tossing up something they can "afford." Make it a place where they want to live. In our case, that meant downsizing by 50%. Make it a place where they can connect. A place that's safe. Where the kids can play, and adults can talk.

Now I'm pondering. How do we make it a place where they can heal?
