Welcome Merced County (CA) Trauma & Resilience Network to the ACEs Connection community!
Their community consists of a wide-range of local representatives from various public and private organizations including businesses, faith-based organizations, school districts, local government and NGOs. Together they have a common desire to make their communities trauma-informed build resilience in their youth, families, neighborhoods and county.
Their mission: Building momentum for individuals and organizations to become actively involved in making the community and organizations across Merced County trauma-informed and resilient.
The Community Manager is Phil Schmauss (pictured below). He is project manager of ACEs Overcomers where he develops and implements trainings throughout Merced County to organizations that provide services to families and children 0-5 years of age. The organization also builds awareness in the community about policies related to adverse childhood experiences, early childhood development, health and social services.
