We need an epidemic of empathy [jacksonville.com]

America is suffering from a lack of empathy.

That was clearly illustrated in the recent news that pipe bombs had being sent to leading Democratic Party figures — just as it was last year when Republican members of Congress were shot upon by an angry leftist.

Americans are losing the ability to walk in someone else’s shoes, to appreciate someone else’s point of view.
