The Biggest Wins and Losses for Ballot Measures [bloomberg.com]

The results of local and state ballot initiatives put directly before voters are trickling in, with wins for supporters of reproductive rights and minimum wage increases, and mixed results on cannabis, guns and the environment.

New York voters approved a $4.2 billion environmental bond, one of the biggest wins for environmental, social and governance infrastructure investments in eight years. California voters rejected a measure that would have levied an additional tax on millionaires to raise money for climate-related programs. Other highly contested races still remain too close to call as election officials continue counting ballots ā€” a process that could take days, if not weeks, in several states. Below are early results of other noteworthy measures taken up by voters.
