The program’s presenter was Allison Sampson, who has a doctorate in social work, is a licensed clinical social worker and serves as vice president of Clinical Operations for Providence Service Corporation’s Eastern Division. Sampson is leading the development of a trauma-informed model to foster effective trauma treatment. She offered conference participants insight on the challenges childhood trauma presents, proven treatment strategies and effective practical skills....
