Self-Compassion for Teens - Training for Clinicians, Educators, & Parents (CEU's Available!)

Dear Friends and ACE's Members,

Please join me to learn how to promote self-compassion in the teens you care for!

In advance of the release of my much anticipated book, Self-Compassion for Teens, I am offering the following in-person seminars through PESI Continuing Education.

Course Description:

Are you frustrated with the epidemic of teens suffering from stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD and trauma? Wish you had some non-medical approaches teens can use to build inner strength while promoting healing? Self-compassion for teens will offer you immediate and actionable ways to train teens with self-compassion to reduce suffering and increase happiness.

Join Dr. Lee-Anne Gray, a clinical and forensic psychologist, in this highly interactive and experiential seminar, and receive her activities, tips and practice sheets to guide teens in cultivating self-compassion. Topics addressed include: school challenges, academic pressure, executive functioning, failure and procrastination, anxiety and depression, ADHD, trauma, LGBTG identity development.

The techniques you will learn to cultivate self-compassion in teens are short and easy to apply teachings and activities that promote adolescents’ academic success and social emotional wellness.

Here's what Kelly McGonigal said about my book, upon which the seminar is based:

"Self-compassion is one of the most important strengths for teenagers to develop, to support resilience, well-being, and social connection. And yet it can be quite difficult to talk about and teach. Lee-Anne Gray has created an extraordinary resource for those who want to cultivate self-compassion in themselves and others. This book provides  practical exercises, discussion prompts, and a deep dive into what it truly means to care about ourselves. I have not seen a better resource for teaching self-compassion, not just for teenagers, but for anyone."

Hope to see you there!
