RWJF Change Leadership Programs [RWJF.org]

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is excited to tell you about our new, funded leadership opportunities—for clinicians, researchers, doctoral students, community leaders and professionals—to build a Culture of Health in America. Applications are due April 19.

Improving health for all is one of the most pervasive challenges of our time. Solving it requires transformative change inside and outside of our health care system, and at every level of our society. It also takes bold visionary leaders who see the power in working across disciplines and sectors to tackle the root causes of health inequities and build a Culture of Health in America, a culture where ALL people—regardless of income, race, faith, gender, zip code—are able to live the healthiest, most whole life possible.

Each program will provide high-level curriculum as well as the opportunity to work with some of our nation’s best thinkers on solutions to real, complex problems and apply them in local communities. Participants will receive funding through stipends and grants.

Two programs may be of particular interest to you:

  • Health Policy Research Scholars: for full-time doctoral students from underrepresented populations entering the first or second year of their doctoral program, and led by Johns Hopkins University.
  • Clinical Scholars: for clinically active health care providers spanning a range of disciplines, working together in interprofessional teams to lead transformative change—centered on health equity—in their communities. This program is led by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

And two additional programs:

We seek leaders across all sectors that impact health: health care, education, transportation, technology, public policy, business, community development, faith, urban planning, and others. Participants will represent diverse backgrounds, perspectives and specialties.

We hope you will apply or help us spread the word to your networks by forwarding this email, sharing on social media, or customizing and sending out the email/e-newsletter copy below.
