"At the July All Staff meeting, Angela Nickell, CEO explained that Pomegranate Health Systems would soon be introducing training by professional trainer/s from the Risking Connection Program from the Sidran Institute, as an outgrowth of the ongoing Trauma Informed Care sessions. The website explains that, “Risking Connection® teaches a relational framework and skills for working with survivors of traumatic experiences. Our mission is to help people recover from traumatic experiences through RICH® relationships—those hallmarked by Respect, Information Sharing, Connection, and Hope, and in so doing to reduce the time, trauma, and costs of healing for all involved.”...
