"An Edinboro University post grad student is hoping to learn more about any of the adverse childhood experiences Titusville Highschoolers may be dealing with. At Tuesday's Titusville Area School District Board of Directors meeting, Gretchin Skiba, who is also affiliated with the PPC Violence Free Network, asked for the boards permission to conduct an anonymous survey in February. She would make use of a questionnaire distributed during physical education classes. Skiba hopes to learn what services are available to students and if the students are making use of services or even if they know there are available services to assist them. The survey contains an evidence based assessment also features an opt out. The survey will track age, gender and grade level, but no names and will be used also in compiling a local database. While the evidence based component may not be changed, other questions in the survey may be altered or edited. The survey will be administered and compiled next month. Skiba says she will share the outcome of the survey with the school board."
