Pre and Perinatal Education Certification

I am 2/3 of the way through this Certification (birthpsychologyedu.com), provided by the Association for Pre and PeriNatal Psychology and Health (APPPAH - www.birthpsychology.com).  In various ways I have been aware of the trauma that babies and children carry and so often find that the origins lie in and around conception, gestation, birth and the perinatal period.  The research and history and years of clinical information revealed in this program are an essential element in reducing ACES.

From my CranioSacral practice, I know that even adults' bodies will bring forth aspects of their birth experience and allow transformation.  This is why I am so happy that the ACES work is expanding.  To me there is no one place to start and I trust the body totally that we are able to transform anything from anytime in our past with the appropriate support.

For anyone interested in understanding the impact of the pre and perinatal period in creating Adverse Effects I urge you to look at and discover APPPAH.  What if pregnancy and childbirth is an opportunity to impact 3 lives in a deeply integral way at a most vulnerable time?
