You can watch the trailer for this powerful film at License to Parent and follow this link for more information on Move the World Films.

Move the World Films:

Yikes! Trigger warning. And I don't just mean the depiction of violence toward children, I mean the judgmental tone of the talking heads. Not sure I could watch this film.

I found a similar reaction when watching the film . . . certain interviewees had a perspective different from my own and my walls of defense flew up. My philosophy is that an adult who is struggling in a parental role has most assuredly experienced trauma in their own childhood and needs our help and guidance in healing their pain in order to help them learn healthy parenting strategies. I watched the film in its entirety and found it educational and informative in many ways . . . from "ah-ha" information to "oh hell no" reactions. It is provocative to say the least. The filmmaker knows the subject is taboo, as well. Hence our podcast conversation about it!

Thanks for your feedback on this. I truly do appreciate it. This helps me understand the impact of my podcast interviews.

Peace,

Teri
