"Childhood trauma expert, Dr. Robert Anda, co-investigator of the Centers for Disease Control Adverse Childhood
Experiences (ACE) Study, spoke to over 100 students and community members at UAA on October 23. Dr. Anda described the ACE study and ways the University can help address critical issues related to child maltreatment.

This interactive presentation included a panel discussion with Dr. David Driscoll, Associate Dean for Research, and Director, Institute for Circumpolar Health Studies, UAA College of Health, and Elizabeth Ripley, Executive Director, Mat-Su Health Foundation. Dean Bill Hogan of the UAA College of Health was the moderator."
