One Lady’s Fight to End Mass Incarceration; “war on drugs is…predominantly war on poor people of color”

"A group of advocates, educators, small business owners and community members are teaming up with Families for Justice as Healing founder Andrea James to stop the state of Massachusetts from building new prisons.

"Families for Justice as Healing is a criminal justice reform organization that speaks from the perspective of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women and their children.  Their main mission is to stop prison and jail expansion and building, reduce prison populations, and take legislative action to advocate for community and wellness programs instead of incarceration...."
