"Gaston Nurse-Family Partnership just celebrated its first anniversary. The program through the Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services was launched in the county in July 2012, and it has 76 moms with 44 babies enrolled just one year later....

"Hodge has been a registered nurse for 31 years and works with 25 mothers as a nurse home visitor for the partnership. Three nurse home visitors are with the program, and there are plans to hire a fourth in order to provide for a total of 100 families, Stroupe said...."
