My intention is to put together a panel of "the best of the best" of attachment therapists and then approach them about assisting me in writing a universal standard, a document that when finished, any parent of a traumatized child can use in court, or when need be, to educate social workers and whomever else, on the fact that just because a therapist refers to themselves as an "attachment therapist" does NOT necessarily make them one. Or, at least not an effective one. I think a document like the one I just described could be immensely helpful to MANY parents like myself! Heaven knows, my daughter had 7 different "attachment therapists," only 2 of which kind of knew what they were doing--but, in the end, really made no difference.
