My first biobehavioral manuscript was just published in the Journal of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. Its findings correlate history of physical abuse with worsened chronic pain experiences in a group of people receiving MAT/MOUD treatment for Opioid Use Disorder.

My next manuscript is in the works. It takes a different perspective on trauma assessments. I am working to validate a PACES assessment, which is the original 10 ACE questions interspersed with 10 resilience-focused questions. The goal is to improve the experience of assessing trauma, for both patients and clinicians, while evolving the assessment to include a neuro-balanced approach.
