"The purpose of the Mental Health Transformation Grant (MHTG) program is to foster adoption and implementation of permanent transformative changes in how public mental health services are organized, managed, and delivered so that they are consumer-driven, recovery-oriented, and supported through evidence-based and best practices. The GAINS Center provides technical assistance to the 20 MHTG grantees as they work to address gaps in mental health treatment services and increase the ability of states, units of local government, and American Indian/Alaska Native Tribes and Tribal organizations to help populations with or at-risk for serious mental health problems.
"As part of their technical assistance, the GAINS Center has developed infographics for each of the 20 MHTG projects in order to creatively display each program’s impact. Infographics are visual representations of information, data, or knowledge intended to present complex information quickly and clearly, and have become increasingly popular within the behavioral health field. The MHTG infographics are updated yearly based on grantee progress reports. Sample infographics from MHTG projects the state of Colorado and Beaver County, Pennsylvania are shown below.
