New foster care program comes to northeast CT - Connecticut

"We are excited to announce that on July 1, 2013 Justice Resource Institute will merge with Community Care Services to offer non-profit social services in the Northeast corner of Connecticut.

"Community Care Services is now a Division of the Justice Resource Institute

"As the merger is complete, Justice Resource Institute will now offer Therapeutic Foster Care as one of its services to people in the area.

"There has been a significant shortage in services in the Northeast, and with this new opportunity there is an incredible amount of buzz in the state’s Department of Children and Families.

"We will offer trauma-informed, home based services to our Therapeutic Foster Care providers- something that is uncharted territory in our state...."
