New Family Resource Center aims to reduce abuse - Massachusetts

"Twenty-six year-old Rey-De Santana is a member of the father’s training group at the new Family Resource Center in Holyoke, where parents work with other parents to cope with family problems that might lead to child abuse.

Santana told 22News that his son is physically disabled.

“So when my daughter came along, it was kind of a hard time. She started out going through he terrible two's at one, and I didn't know what to do and I decided to talk with Roy,” he said.

Roy is Roy Lichtenstein, who counsels young parents at the Family Resource Center, and helps them work out their problems.

“I've seen him grow into a great individual. Loving father, loving partner to his partner and just constantly comes to group, ‘tell me more, tell me more’” he said...."
