National ACEs Summit videos posted

The first National ACEs Summit, which took place in May in Philadelphia, had a sell-out crowd of 200 people (140 for the two-day conference, and about 60 for an evening event), and, as people learned about it, many, many more wanted to attend.

It was planned as an invitation-only event, something between a large meeting and a small conference, because Martha Davis and Sandy Dempsey at the Institute for Safe Families, which organized the gathering, and Jane Isaacs Lowe at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which co-sponsored the event, weren't sure how much interest existed for such a meeting.

By the time the summit occurred, scads of people wanted to attend, but couldn't because there just wasn't enough room. It's  clear: The thirst to learn more about research and practices related to ACEs and trauma-informed concepts is huge.

So, here's the next-best thing: videos of all the fabulous presentations. Robert Anda. Laura Porter. Nadine Burke Harris. Ken Ginsburg. Heather Larkin. Christina Bethell.
