This is a very bad article.  I saw it last week as it was mentioned in AAP smart brief.  It suggests adding an atypical antipsychotic (respiradol) to the drug mix in kids with ADHD produces better outcomes.  The atypical antipsychotics have HORRIFIC SIDE EFFECTS.  THEIR USE IN CHILDREN SHOULD BE EXTREMELY LIMITED AND THE CHILD'S ENVIRONMENT AND TOXIC STRESS SHOULD BE EVALUATED AND REMEDIATED BEFORE STARTING THIS MEDICINE.  Recently there were many blogs about excessive antipsychotic prescriptions for children in foster care (chemical paralysis).  The kids most diagnosed with ADHD are in foster care also.  These articles are at odds with each other.
