General Theory of Love CoverThe “General Theory of Love” (GTL) shows it’s vital to value our mammalian attachment system. We need to stay close to other mammals.

Porges’ writings on mammals last week.

"When mammals showed up on the planet, their reproduction was different. Unlike reptiles they gave birth to live helpless young that had to be nurtured...The parent has to monitor the physiology of the baby. Infants... seek out someone to soothe them."
