Looking For Some Guidance

Hi Everybody,

I'm an intern with a program that works with victims and offenders of sexual abuse. Currently, the program is looking into providing more trauma-focused care. Our program is on of the first programs in our area to start to make this shift, so we're having to inform a lot of people about what "trauma-focused care" even means. My supervisor has to make these presentations to other local organizations, and she asked me to find some good videos to add to her presentations. I was wondering if anyone out there had suggestions of good videos (or other presentation materials) about trauma trauma-informed treatment etc.

Hi Lydia, We have compiled some starter videos for just that purpose. Please go to Resources on the front page and click on the Presentations button or click here. There are 10 videos listed under "Videos." They've been arranged to watch in that order to give a good overview. The total viewing time is 99 mins. I suggest you watch them and pick out the ones you like if 99 mins is too long. Let me know if you need any other help.
