Lemonade for Life Builds Hope with Providers and Families

Looking for ways to support your team and the families you work with using the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Study and related science?

Lemonade for Life was developed with this desire in mind, initially with a focus on reaching family support providers. The training experience helps anyone working with families who have experienced ACEs to intentionally and thoughtfully introduce the information in a way that builds hope and resilience. The training series includes opportunities to reflect and discuss ACEs and resilience science in relation to your own experiences and offers tools and resources for introducing these topics with families using a hope-infused mindset.

Iowa ACEs 360 assumed ownership of Lemonade for Life in fall 2022 and is beginning to offer open-enrollment and group training opportunities. In addition to the training, participation includes access to up-to-date resources, weekly messages that help you apply what you learn to your work, and a participant handbook that can be used to reflect on how to implement tools.

A virtual open enrollment series begins January 30, with additional opportunities coming soon. Sign up to receive updates and learn about the January 30-February 2 series. Run by a non-profit organization, the training is priced to cover the cost of the trainer, materials, and coordination only.
