Join us for Excelerator: A Community in Action

Excelerator: A Community in Action is the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities brand new, reimagined fall experience for learning, networking, and entertainment, starting October 19. This is a completely virtual experience that will provide a space for exchanging ideas, collaborating on solutions, and of course, having fun.

Explore the program to discover courses and events that will be available through the online, interactive community, VeloCity. Here, participants will come together to tackle some of our toughest shared challenges in equity, education, economic development, and more. Together, we will concentrate on envisioning communities of the future, strengthening network impact, and strategically shifting the social services sector.

Headliners include activist and scholar Cornel West, CNN analyst Bakari Sellers, and no-BS author of the Nonprofit AF blog Vu Le. In addition, learning series address equity, sector health and sustainability, education, population health and well-being, and safety and resilience.

We have some incredible sessions planned as part of the Safety and Resilience course including one on resilience and learnings from brain science featuring Dr. Richard Davidson from the Center for Healthy Minds at University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Explore the program and register now to discover how you can better tackle some of our toughest challenges in equity, sector health and sustainability, education, population health and well-being, and safety and resilience.

The Alliance looks forward to seeing you for this five-week experience to recharge, recommit, and act in support of our vision of a healthy and equitable society.
