"Is That Me Yelling? A Parent's Guide to Getting Your Kids to Cooperate Without Losing Your Cool"

I am happy to announce that my book, "Is That Me Yelling? A Parent's Guide To Getting Your Kids To Cooperate Without Losing Your Cool, is now out in book stores and online.

It's been a labor of love to write about ways parents can become more familiar with themselves as they attempt to respond rather than react to their children. When children refuse to do even little things—like picking up toys or getting into the car—it's easy for parents to become frustrated and yell. More and more research is showing the negative consequences of yelling, and I think my book can really help. It has lots of stories and clear ideas how to yell less and what to do instead. I also address the question of "When is yelling considered abuse?" You can read the first chapter free on my web site at http://www.nurserona.com/is-that-me-yelling/

I hope you will pass on information about the book as a resource for the people you work with. I am working on my schedule for the Fall, so if there are conferences or trainings you think I should be at, please let me know.

I'm grateful to get some terrific endorsement:
