I Fell Hard for Hafiz

Every once in a while I write something that has nothing to do with trauma. Not in an obvious way anyhow.

But I can't help but be me so even poetry by Hafiz seems to be about attachment to me.

Out of a great need
we are holding hands
and climbing
not loving is a letting go.
Listen,
the terrain around here
is far too dangerous
for that.
