Nurses often treat victims of domestic violence. During normal times, they may be able to assist them in getting help to escape their cycle of abuse.

But what happens during a pandemic? What happens when they are being told to quarantine? How can nurses assist in this case?

Valerie Weir, BSN, RN, SAFE Domestic Violence Program Coordinator, discussed how nurses can help victims of domestic violence during this time.
