Gulf Coast Judges Unite To Implement Child Trauma Care [wxxv25.com]

Gulf coast judges and 150 stake holders came together for a two day training event to implement trauma-informed care for children.

Professionals working in mental health, schools, law enforcement, church ministries, and child welfare gathered at the u-s-m gulf park campus for a two-day training on “Trust-Based Relational Intervention”– also known as TBRI .

TBRI Is an evidence-based, trauma-informed intervention designed to meet the complex needs of individuals who have experienced relational trauma.

Daren Jones, a TBRI Trainer said, “Get everybody on the same page as far as what is trauma how does it impact our kids, our families, our communities and then those empowering, connecting, and correcting principles what do we do about it we need solutions not just concepts.”
