Free Trauma Webinar: Knowing Where to Tap

A traumatic event or another crisis can act as the catalyst to cause or exacerbate an already upside down hierarchy. Over time, this inverted hierarchy will lead the problem symptoms in the child and/or other family members, a lack of boundaries, coalitions, or a lack of love or limits.  On Tuesday, December 11 at 1 pm ET, the Family Trauma Institute presents a webinar that answers the question: "Why is theory so essential to helping the trauma therapist know where to tap to discover the root causes of their client's trauma quickly?"

Date: Tuesday, December 11th
Time: 1:00-2:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time
Cost: Free

To register:  Click here

 This webinar includes:

  • Why a great theoretical lens allows therapists to cut through the white noise to quickly discover the root causes of your client’s trauma

Competency in our clients is quiet; it tends to be overlooked in the               noise and clatter of problems

  •  The backstory of why so much trauma-informed treatment today is individually focused and not family focused
  •  How structural-strategic theory works together and uses the techniques of “undercurrents” and “trauma playbooks” to quickly move your client’s forward.
  •  You will receive a free monthly article on this topic and Family Systems Trauma (FST) technique
  •  Live Q & A with Dr. Sells and Case Study Examples

Please note:  CEUs are not available for this free webinar.  Registered participants will be able to view the recording for ten days following the live webinar.

HI Scott, thanks for sharing this with our ACEs Connection community.  I have heard from at least one person that you training has helped their family tremendously.  A  couple of questions for you:

1. does your training use the framework of ACEs science and addressing the intergenterational aspects of ACEs and if so, will the webinar address that?

2. I wanted to check on the audience for this webinar - the webinar is targeted to therapists, is that correct? Would it be appropriate for other family serving professionals?

Also, you may want to post this webinar as a calendar event as well on the main site.
Thank you!
Gail
