February Professional Development Courses
People around the world need the skills and training we offer, but many are unable to come to Harrisonburg to attend courses. To help those who cannot attend in person during our traditional sessions, the "Summer" Peacebuilding Institute is trying something new - winter online courses.
Dates for February online courses: February 15 - March 19, 2021
The following courses will be taught at the February online session of SPI (click the course title below for course description, dates, and times of courses):
- Circle Processes
- Introduction to Restorative Justice
- Faith Communities and Racial Justice
- Designing Powerful Solutions With(in) Community
- Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery
All February courses are for professional development only. No academic credit is available for February courses. The cost per course is $775.

Partial Scholarships and Organizational Discounts
Partial scholarships are available for those with financial need as are discounts for organizations that have three or more people participating in courses. Click here for more information.
NEW INFORMATION: May and June 2021 courses move online
Due to the unknowns both of the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccine schedule, we have realized that it would be very difficult to have SPI in person in May and June. We are currently working on a schedule of courses for our May/June online session and will have that information available in early January.
We look forward to your participation in our online courses in February/March and May/June.
