I am currently conducting a research study on the experiences of Black emerging adults as it relates to adversity or possible trauma, ethnic identity, sense of community, and mental health outcomes. I am currently recruiting participants for an online research survey.
The requirements to participate in this study are:
- You identify as Black (e.g., African descended, African American, Afro Latinx, Afro Caribbean, Caribbean American)
- That you are 18-29 years of age.
- That you live in the United States.
At the completion of your participation, you may voluntarily choose to enter your e-mail address for a chance to be compensated. The first 90 participants to complete the survey are guaranteed to receive $10 via a mobile payment service (e.g., Apple Pay, Cash App, Venmo, Zelle). The remaining participants who complete the survey (until data collection ends) will be entered in a drawing with a chance to win $10, also through mobile payment, for their time and effort and will receive the $10 once data collection ends.
If you choose to participate, you will complete an online survey that is predicted to take about 30 minutes to complete. The information you share will remain confidential. Participation in this study is voluntary and all data will be stored in a safe, secure, and password protected location.
