Dallas shelter hosts “Training Camp” for men to get involved in fight against domestic violence - Texas

"Piggybacking on the mayor’s anti-domestic violence campaign targeting men, The Family Place shelter is hosting a “Training Camp” Thursday night to teach men the basics about domestic violence and how to help stop it.

"It will be the first in a four-part series that aims to give men the tactical tools they need to participate in the fight against domestic violence....

"Executive director Paige Flink hopes “The Next Step Training Camp” will help arm men with the knowledge and resources that will help them go into their communities and make a difference...."
