You are not alone.

An army of mental health professionals is manning phones and medical centers, and you should not wait until a moment of crisis to seek help from stress related to the coronavirus pandemic, experts say.

“Even though it may be called a crisis hotline, sometimes you need to call before you are in crisis,” said Sharon Curran, a certified mental health first aid trainer and CEO of the Lenape Valley Foundation of Pennsylvania.

“Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, we have people answering phones who are experts in behavioral health and crisis intervention, and we want people to call,” Curran stressed.
