In addition to social workers, this will be a valuable course for school psychologists, educators, HR personnel, among others. The point is that many anniversaries are coming up and the prior traditions for dealing with anniversaries have changed. How do we handle the pandemic anniversary and the anniversaries of those who passed away from COVID? How do we deal with anniversaries of traumatic events like suicides and shootings and death by overdoses?

We need to plan and reflect ahead of time so we don't end up retriggering older trauma.
