Colorado Human Services/Child Welfare director says Loveland's Community Life Center could be national model for service organizations

"Spearheaded by House of Neighborly Service leaders, the new building triples the nonprofit organization's current downtown space and allows for more volunteers and clients. House of Neighborly Service officials plan to move into the 60,000-square-foot building in January with the three tenants currently housed under its roof -- the Center for Adult Learning, Neighbor to Neighbor and Hand Up Cooperative. 

"Eventually, as many as 12 nonprofit organizations will be able to move in and share clients and expenses in a way that Bicha believes will become a national model for the way service agencies operate and work together....

"The dream, Magrum said, is for the Community Life Center to provide opportunities and resources for entire families. That's why there's a child care wing where parents who attend any classes at the center can leave their young ones, classroom and computer lab space, a nonprofit coffee shop so that meetings can be held in a different environment than over a desk and more...."
