Candice has worked at the crossroads of education, justice and community healing for the past 16 years. She has extensive experience in mindfulness, trauma-informed care, anti-oppressive practices, cultural competency, liberatory education and youth empowerment.

This is one of my all-time favorite podcasts. Candace is tough, honest, to the point. Great interview! Glad it's airing again. It's a treasure. There is some salty language. And I believe that just goes along with her authenticity.

Thank You for posting this [with links] ...                                                                           My [fore-shortened sense of the future] PTSD symptom is more prevalent this week... Fortunately, some of my strategies seem to help -- but,'End-of-year'  turmoil is more pronounced -- almost like some previous anxiety/panic  incidents of the 'distant past' and some more recently. I'll be meeting with my Primary Care team in two days (47 hours from now... Thanks for your support ...Please Have a 'Happy Holiday Season' ! ! (Edit: Something else came up for me that the article addressed in my 'more thorough reading of this', today.)       [Delayed Grief reaction ? ? ?]
