I've been following Erin Merryn's work to get now 26 states to adopt curricula that will help teach kids directly about sexual abuse and strategies for getting support. I'm so impressed with what she's accomplished, and she's clearly not stopping until Erin's Law is the law of the entire land. A short 1 minute video preview is included below. "11 years ago I couldn't get my local paper to run a story on me breaking the silence of sexual abuse. I've come a long way with since then. Now I have a major network TLC airing a PSA starting Sunday night on their network. It will air on TLC airing through the month until my appearance on TLC airs August 30th in their 1 hour commercial free documentary. This is going to bring so much national awareness to Erin's Law. I can't thank TLC enough for not sweeping this issue under the rug after what happened with the Duggars. They used it as an opportunity to shed light on this silent epidemic and bring awareness. So many other networks would do the complete opposite".
