"A local drug treatment center is doing its part to get homeless families off the streets.
"The Bossier Treatment Center's Family Success Institute helps mothers stay off drugs, while still caring for their children.
"It's unique because it's one of few treatment centers in the state to accept pregnant women.
"The institute is a residential facility with 13 beds.
"The beds are for women and their children as long as they are 12 years old or under. The women have to get the drugs or alcohol out of their system and have Medicaid before they can enter the program. There's also daycare for the toddlers and babies...."
