ARMC to host informative programs Saturday (AlpenaNews.com)

ALPENA - Alpena Regional Medical Center will be hosting a presentation about adverse childhood experiences with speaker Dr. Vincent J. Felitti, who is the co-principal investigator of the adverse childhood experiences study, which involves ongoing collaborative research between the Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program and the Center for Disease Control.

 

There will be two informative programs taking place Saturday at ARMC about adverse childhood experiences. The first is from 8:30 a.m. until 12- p.m. that focuses on the science of ACEs and toxic stress and how to build a foundation to help children thrive. This session is a continuing education activity and offers accreditation for the program. The cost for registration is $30 per person for this portion of the program.
