“Are the children safe, and then taken care of?” Connecting the world Part 1.

Everyone on this site wants the world to be better.  Yet, we are complicit to the very reasons it is the way it is.

The core to everything we know is wrong, that is within our ability to address, is our lack of connection and logic.

Child abuse, violence, racism, poverty, and so on, all of them exist because of our lack of connection and logic.

And until we address those issues in us, we remain complicit to what is within our abilities to so easily with the hard work do.

Most don’t know how or don’t practice the foundations of logic and connection. Yet all you need is the foundations to do what must be done.  For those who haven’t been taught, we have to connect and teach them.  For those who have, we call out to them to practice.

What does it take to be internally connected and self aware?

As with everything, we start with logic, analyzing and understanding all that we can.  In this case, understanding ourselves and how we function, within the limits of what knowledge we currently have.

And while we are all individuals and might have different ways we are conformed and process, there are also many reasons individuals might struggle differently or/and more with this.  I wish I could do this as connectively as I should, being to being(s), but we don’t have the time, so just note, I am sensitive to the healing that is sometimes needed, and where individuals might be in their own healing as we move forward.

Here is a starting point.

Go back to foundations of knowing yourself.

From fertilization, there are the parts of you that are “nature” and “environment”.  And that continues throughout life, with the additional variable of “your actions”.   Whether your actions are of your true free will has some depends.  What is vital, is you know and are self-aware of everything that makes you you, and act out of a place of understanding.

As you can, to the best that you can:

- I know how my thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and physiology are connected.

- As needed, I address possible impairments to both self-awareness and logically processing.

Examples:

  • challenges in my ability to attune to my inner processes and experiences;
  • not studying and understanding where my thoughts and feelings come from;
  • biases;
  • not seeking feedback.
  • I stay aware of how I am doing physically, feeling emotionally, and where I am mentally.
  • I use my personal skills to center, and have my plan to stay centered or re-center as needed.

Using Logic and Connection

Once we are internally connected and self-aware, logic is easy in practice, if hard to cope with.  Which is also why we need that internal connection and self-awareness first, even as logic helps us create it.

The Process:

  • Be and stay centered as you can be,
  • Constantly check every bias and internal disconnect,
  • Analyze everything objectively for every possibility,
  • Don’t just analyze what you find, but what is possible,
  • Once you accept the possibility of all possibilities, choose how to construct your internal and external connections with the most goodness for yourself and others.

Connecting

What if we had to see and hear the lives of every child and adult who needs help?

Every last one.

In real time our realties are connected.

Whatever they are “living” through or as they might be dying, we can’t close our eyes, cover our ears, or turn away.

And they know we are there.

What would we be doing differently this very moment?

Would anything stop us?

What would you say to them about the decisions you are making?

What if you were the one living or dying through it?

The reality is we are connected to them, and that connection is how we have to live.

We are capable of making the choices and doing what is necessary to reach each of them. Yet we live disconnected or distanced from desperation and pain that should be our own. While they wonder where we are, or have stopped wondering. Whatever our rationalizations, they are immoral for as long as we exist.

And we have all we need to change everything in this lifetime.

Now we are going to narrow this.

Connect to every child that needs us right this very moment. All of them. Everywhere.

Hold that connection.

Now look into the future. Connect to every child that is going to be where those children are in the next few days, weeks, and months if we don’t do something.

Our goal and identity

  • A world where every child is safe and taken care of.
  • The kind of person that lives with the greatest goodness I can.

The core to everything we know is wrong, that is within our ability to address, comes back to the one central question:  “Are the children safe, and then taken care of?”  Our disconnect and lack of logic to that one question, gives us the foundational answers to all.  And that disconnect is the core of how they are all interconnected.  It’s our lack of living according to our goal and identity that the world is as it is now.  Even though there is one category of possibilities of why that would be the better option, I will discuss another day.

And doing the work to correctly answer the question “Are the children safe, and then taken care of?” will hopefully eventually lead to “A world where everyone is safe and taken care of”.  Goal and identity.

We all have been complicit to the evil.  So we have to own that and do what we have to do now.  And we don’t do it through our work, but through our lives.  We the complicit become the advocates, the preventionists, the interveners, and the healers.

How

We are going to start broad, then drill down.

But remember the goal and identity as we do:

  • A world where every child is safe and taken care of.
  • The kind of person that lives with the greatest goodness I can.

Basic process – personal to universal

  • Analyze everything: If we want something to function optimally, we have to first understand every part of it and its functionality.  So, we have to understand our world the best we can now, while we look for answers. There is a framework for this.
  • Make decisions: Accepting our reality, including there might not be hope, we decide how to change what is changeable and work with what isn’t, while working towards what is possible.
  • Through the lens of “Is this for the greater good?” gets complicated or/and hard.  Again, there is a framework.
  • While we are making the harder decisions, we start with the basics. “Is every child safe, and then taken care of?”, “Are we prepared for whatever might happen?” “Are we hopefully working for a better future?”
  • Change: We change our lives to match the goals.  Everything we do becomes based on those

Personal  – 5 core components, we will then bring together

- Use a framework of logic, being connected, and valuing goodness. - For many this might include learning how to use logic, be connected (internally and externally), and value goodness.  It is part of healing, and can be a process to learn, develop, or/and maintain.

Holding your connection from earlier, always go to your goals:

  • A world where every child is safe and taken care of.
  • The kind of person that lives with the greatest goodness I can.

-View everything through “Is this getting me closer to those goals?”

  • When you evaluate your time and how you do things, you will realize how much time and resources we simply waste, and in many cases are not only allowing injury, but creating injury as we do so.
  • And while the next points address the balancing flow to this, use something like this as part of your core guide:
    • “Is what I’m doing right this moment leaving a child being abused longer?
    • Could we get to this child quicker if I did this different?
    • Is this something I’m doing instead of keeping another child from being abused?” That’s a pretty good anchor, as you learn to conceptualize the full standard of the balance and expand it as we go through the other and future points.
  • Look at things like: Do I need to heat this part of my food? Do I need to add spice?  How am I using utilities?  How am I using my resources? What am I spending my money on? Can I do this more efficiently? What’s the priority?
    • These things don’t just prioritize the children, but also start healing the world.
  • We also have to deal with the reality that because we let everything go this long, we can’t do everything correctly right away because of the immediate priority needs. And some things will take societal restructuring. So we deal with “These parts need balance, margin, or ‘just are’  based on our current situation.”  It gets easier with practice.  And the more everyone does their part, the easier all of this will be.

- Knowing this is a hard press, and there are immediate needs, we are also in a marathon not a sprint, and have to stay prepared to do our best for all possible scenarios. So sleep, nutrition, exercise, what keeps you connected is foundational.  Making sure you have income.  And then in balance we are working on preps, both physical and skills.

- Every single day do something to help with prevention and immediate intervention. And while I have a new suggested systems way of increasing reach, this includes every day asking others on some level to get connected and involved.

- Every single day we work to learn more.

How this might look:

My flow is based on the balance of to the best of my ability: I have to take care of myself in all ways, I have to be preparing for everything, I have to take care of the environment, I have to be understanding our reality to hopefully work towards a better future, I am responsible for every child that needs us now, and keeping any other child from needing us in the same way.

And this looks the same for children or/and those that are developmentally or/and functionally capable.  Everyone adjusts.  And we help everyone with as much connection as possible when possible.

This was connecting the world, part 1.

You might think that was everything, but this is just the start. As we work on addressing all that needs done, there are many other elements.

Also, as you start to think through everything, things might get rough.  But we are all connected, so connect as you need to.  And I mean that as: if you need connection reach out, and if someone needs connection reach out.

Next steps

  • Start with changing you or your family’s life.
  • I have  a letter that can be sent out to media, politicians, leaders, philanthropists, anyone that can help. And anyone who has edit suggestions, I’m open.

Think through all that is needed from the global list. Examples: How people need the skills to think and be connected in a healthy way. What are things that would be easy to put on an app and website?  Who would be good to train that on video?  To do news trainings? Helping write out the core to everything.

This isn't perfect, but when you are trying to connect answers or at least the hope of them, you don't wait.
