A long time friend and former co-worker is now trying to get [mental health]  'Aid' to Earthquake Survivors in Puerto Rico. His current job in Massachusetts, while residing in New Hampshire make that challenging... He was the first Hispanic translator for Manchester (NH) District Court, and subsequently the first hispanic translator in Hillsborough County (NH) Superior Court (His father had been a Judge in Puerto Rico, and attended federal Judicial conferences in Boston-serving Federal 'Region' I [New England and Puerto Rico]. I am sure that [trauma-informed] 'Resilience Building' would also be welcome.... Perhaps he can avail some 'spanish translating resources' after the Earthquake survivors have 'suitable care'.

I am looking for a  Trauma Informed presentation/training in Spanish.

In which state are you located?  If ACEs Interface has done training in your state you can contact a suitably trained Master Trainer who can provide presentation in Spanish.  If you are in Michigan pls let me know.

I am in Florida. Thank you for the information.

Roxana,

I know someone who has extensive experience doing trauma-informed care trainings, mostly for health care professionals, in Spanish and English. She is not on ACE's Connection, but I told her about this group and she has expressed interested in joining and registering as a speaker. She gave me her contact information if you want to reach out:

Hope this helps,

Cierra tus ojos y pon atención a tu respiración. Siente el ritmo de tu
respiración… inhala… exhala… inhala… exhala. Ahora, acepta tu respiración.

No hay nada que hacer. No estás haciendo nada mal. Solamente observa tu
respiración y acéptala como es, como si estuvieras observando las nubes
flotando en el cielo.

Practícalo 2 o 3 veces al día o cuando simplemente te sientas estresado.
Veras que después de hacerlo te sentirás más relajado y confortado.

Hi Carey,

Can you send  the information on the Spanish training materials  to rcastro@hvusa.org. Thank you.

I’d love to receive training materials in Spanish as well if you might be able to share. As we offer lots of PD in Spanish but lack of good resources in Spanish. marina@allourkin.org.

Thank you!
