As the district-level administrator wearing multiple hats in two rural districts in Washington State in the past 10 years, I can honestly say that the McKinney-Vento Homeless Act is one of the most important yet also misunderstood tools of compassion available to families, school systems, and administrators. I was fortunate to see a shift in the level of understanding (over time) as a number of systems in our region supported decision-making process(es) in the best interests of the child and their learning circumstances.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
